How Adam from Total Fibreglass (West Yorkshire) transformed a failing felt roofed conservatory with the TriRoof GRP Complete System.
Roof materials are supplied by Tricel Composites. We are based in Leeds, West Yorkshire and Warrenpoint, Co. Down.

One of our roofing customers, Adam at Total Fibreglass in Yorkshire, was faced with the challenge of replacing an entire conservatory roof as the existing felt roof was leaking and causing ongoing issues for the homeowners. Initially the customer had previously contacted a local builder for a flat roof repair. However, instead of properly replacing the roof to ensure it was watertight, the builder boarded and felted directly over the damaged structure.
Unfortunately, this quick fix did not resolve the issue. Before long, the roof began leaking again, leading to even more significant problems. The original complaint had not been addressed causing significant costs and distress for the homeowner.
Adam began by removing the existing felt to expose the warped, damaged, and swollen boards, which had deteriorated due to prolonged water ingress. Clearly, from the extent of the damage, it was evident that these boards needed to be replaced.
Next, Adam installed new, T&G boards from TriRoof and then applied the TriRoof GRP Complete Roofing System and Trims. Specifically, the system included TriRoof Lloyd’s Approved Resin, Chopped Strand Matting, and our Roofing Topcoat.
Once the works had been completed, the customer commented that the extension looked “brand new”, highlighting their satisfaction with the results.
