- RESINS & REINFORCEMENTS
TRIJECT
TriJect offers a broad range of resins and reinforcements designed specifically for Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM), Silicone Membrane, and Infusion applications.
We formulate Fire Retardant, DCPD, Orthophthalic, Isophthalic, and ECO bespoke resins with lower viscosities for closed mould processes, making them compatible with standard and AAP catalysts.
TRIJECT PRODUCT RANGE
FULL RTM
Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) is a closed-mould process used to manufacture high-performance composite components in medium volumes. In RTM, technicians position reinforcements in a mould and inject resin, such as Fire Retardant, DCPD, Orthophthalic, or Isophthalic, using vacuum or pressure.
RTM produces typically smaller parts than Hand Lay-Up or Spray-Up, significantly reduces styrene emissions, and enables precise fibre placement for enhanced strength, stiffness, and mechanical performance.
LIGHT RTM
Light RTM provides greater flexibility in the types of resins and fillers you can use, along with a range of different fibre contents.
LRTM delivers better cosmetic finishes, faster cycle times, and more consistent part thickness compared to hand lay-up and spray-up techniques.
Manufacturers recommend LRTM for products requiring high strength-to-weight ratios or for moulds that risk die-locking on rigid surfaces.
SILICONE MEMBRANE
Silicone membrane offers a more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to nylon bagging. It improves component finishes compared to hand lay-up or spray-up and requires no extensive training to use.
